Catch-Up Premium

The Government announced in the Summer term 2020 that £1 billion of funding had been earmarked for schools to support children and young people to catch up following the lockdown period that led to school closures. This includes a one-off universal £650 million catch-up premium for the 2020 to 2021 academic year to ensure that schools have the support they need to help all pupils make up for lost teaching time due to Covid-19.   Although all children have had their education disrupted by the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, it is likely that disadvantaged and vulnerable groups will have been hardest hit.

We have received £10,480. Below is our action plan for how the funding will be spent.  This will be reviewed each term by Governors and the school leadership team.
