Here at St Paul’s we try to ensure that our Christian values are reflected through our support for both local and national charities

Local community charities are supported: a local food bank receives the donations from our Autumn Harvest celebrations.

We also raise funds to assist the school in a variety of ways: events (seasonal fairs, coffee mornings, school discos); competitions; craft sessions; and special occasions are marked with activities and non-uniform days.

The School Association is central to the fundraising process at St Paul’s. They work together with the staff and pupils to decide which national charities we will support each year and to design exciting, topical events and activities that whenever possible link to the curriculum. We believe it is very important to allow our children to actively participate and put the ‘fun’ in fundraising, learning the relevance of their skills in literacy and maths and also the importance of the Christian values of Charity and Service.

We are very proud of the high level of support we get for all these fundraising initiatives and are grateful and considerate of all the time, effort and not least, money given by our parents, carers and community members, always generously given.

If you would like to get involved, have any suggestions about future charities you would like the school to support, or have any exciting ideas for fundraising then please contact the school office who will put you in touch with either the Chair of the School Association or the Head Teacher.
