Religious Education

The school follows the Understanding Christianity Staffordshire R.E. Scheme of Work

The units of work cover mainly Christianity, but also Judaism and Islam. The scheme of work is presented with clear Learning Objectives, Learning Outcomes and suggested learning activities.

The units for Reception are linked to areas of learning within ‘Development Matters’ and include Thinking Skills and Assessment.

Each unit has a ‘Big Question’ that the children explore during the course of the half term with the aim being that they will be able to answer the ‘Big Question’ by the end of the theme.
