As a Church of England First School, Collective Worship is an important part of school life. Worship is based around the teaching of Christian values and we explore one value each half term. We share the teachings of Jesus and reflect on how he can guide us and support us in our daily lives.

Our Core Values are: Community, Aspire, Respect and Endure (CARE). We focus on one value each half term in whole school worship. We then build on and develop Collective Worship through classroom worship, where the children are given the opportunity to reflect and discuss how Christian values relate to them and their experiences.

Worship Monitors for 2023-2024:

We have a Worship Team made up of Year 4 pupils, who support the act of Collective Worship and plan at least one whole Act of Worship each half term. Our monitors this year are:

We also have strong links with our parish church, St Paul’s, and visit there for worship and to celebrate important times in the Christian calendar.
