On Tuesday 18th Year 4 welcomed Ms Chauhan into school to talk about Diwali which was celebrated on Monday 24th October. She started the session by looking at our Core Values and the children shared their understanding and made links to this celebration and different faiths. The children learned about where in the world this celebration began and all of the faiths that celebrate Diwali. Ms Chauhan and Ariyan brought in lots of artefacts for the children to explore and shared with them how they celebrate each year. The children were then treated to a drum solo by Ariyan before trying some delicious food. They also were given some beautiful bangles and a tea light to take home too.
