St Paul’s First School consistently strives to promote healthy and active lifestyles and to provide sporting opportunities for all its pupils. The Government is providing funding to all primary schools and the aim of this funding is to enhance current provision in Physical Education.

All children, regardless of their sporting ability should benefit from the sports funding. St Paul’s First School intend to utilise the sports premium funding to have maximum impact for all pupils.

SUAT supports and leads in the set-up of new academies joining the partnership. The services provided by the central support function cover both educational and non-educational support. In terms of educational support, SUAT is linked to the School of Education of Staffordshire University, which is an outstanding ITT provider.
